The two were suspected of illegal gambling and money laundering, and refused to cooperate after being arrested. According to previous official reports, Zhou Zhuohua, the former chairman of the Macau Sun City Group, was arrested by the Macau police in November last year for suspected illegal casinos in China.
According to the Tianyancha App, in addition to serving as co-chairman, chief executive officer and executive director of Legendale Macau Co., Ltd., Chen Ronglian is also affiliated with 6 companies in the mainland, of which 5 are in existence or in business, including Xiamen Longxin Storage and Transportation Co., Ltd., Lianxin (Fujian) Real Estate Development and Construction Co., Ltd. and other companies, Zhuhai Dejin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., etc. Chen Ronglian has served as a director, executive director, vice chairman and other senior executive positions, and also serves as the legal representative of Zhuhai Dejin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. The company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dejin Group Co., Ltd.
It is worth mentioning that from May to August 2020, Chen Ronglian successively withdrew from the legal representative and senior management positions of a number of mainland companies, including Zhuhai Dejin Cultural Communication Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Dexin Advertising Co., Ltd., Shanghai Dexu Trading Co., Ltd., etc., all of which were replaced by Gao Cheng Yuqi.
