Yesterday, the Beijing Awards Plaza of the Beijing Winter Olympics held a "real combat" drill, which focused on sound and photoelectric coordination, athletes walking streamline setting, flag-raising ceremony, etc. The whole rehearsal process was very smooth, and the Beijing Awards Plaza is about to bring an exciting award ceremony to the audience around the world.

Awards square is a cultural feature of the Winter Olympic Games, the Summer Olympic Games will generally be immediately after the end of the competition venue for the winning athletes to hold an award ceremony, and after the Winter Olympic Games, usually in the arena first held a souvenir ceremony, and then come to the award square for the winners to hold a formal award ceremony, before the award ceremony will also be a cultural display activities such as literary performances.

At 3 p.m. yesterday, the drill at the Beijing Awards Plaza officially began. After the material preparation was completed in the background, the athletes' podium, medals and flowers were successfully set up, the award drill began, and the athletes simulated by volunteers walked slowly to the podium under the leadership of the etiquette staff. Before the medals are awarded, the on-site big screen will play the highlight moment video of the first, second and third places, and then with the cooperation of the live broadcast and music and lighting, the athletes will go on stage to receive the medals in turn, and then take a group photo on the podium.

After stepping off the podium, the champions, runners-up and runners-up need to take a group photo at the left, center and right points of the stage under the guidance of the ceremonial staff, fully meeting the requirements of photography and videography at each angle. It is reported that a large screen will also be set up on both sides of the stage to remotely connect the family and friends of the winning athletes, so that the athletes can interact with their families on the spot and share the glorious moments of life.

After the award ceremony drill, the scene also played the picture of the award square in Zhangjiakou Division on the big screen. It is reported that during the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the award ceremonies in Beijing Awards Square and Zhangjiakou Awards Square will be arranged in the same time period, and the award ceremonies of the two divisions will be carried out in turn and broadcast live through the Olympic Broadcasting Service Company (OBS).

Yesterday afternoon, two rounds of award ceremony drills were held. According to Jia Ruoyi, media operation manager of Beijing Awards Plaza, at present, Beijing Awards Plaza has to carry out multiple rounds of award ceremony drills every day according to the daily award plan of the Winter Olympic Games.

After a short break after the afternoon drill, as night fell, the dreamlike lights of the Beijing Awards Plaza also lit up. Before the start of the evening drill, a light show and a theatrical performance were held in the awards plaza, which set off the atmosphere of the scene very warmly.
