On the occasion of the Spring Festival, in order to effectively eliminate all kinds of fire hazards, prevent the occurrence of major fire accidents, and ensure the safety of people's lives and property, the Zhoukou Municipal Public Security Bureau Economic Development Zone Bureau recently organized a centralized action to investigate and rectify fire safety hazards.
During the operation, the police of the police stations under each jurisdiction strictly followed the standards of "five haves" and "five noes" of fire safety management, and went deep into the key places and key parts of the districts along the streets, such as stores, hotels and guesthouses, shopping malls, supermarkets, entertainment venues, etc. to carry out fire safety inspections, focusing on the investigation and rectification of fire safety system is not implemented, blocking safe passages, imperfect fire fighting facilities, inadequate staff training, and strict daily management. Everywhere they went, the police repeatedly reminded the person in charge of the safety of the place to improve the awareness of fire safety, strengthen the internal staff's initial handling of fire accidents and escape self-help common sense, regularly inspect the fire fighting facilities, and ensure the absolute safety of the place. In the process of inspection, for the existing hidden danger sites and parts, if they can be rectified on the spot, the police supervise all rectification, and if they cannot rectify on the spot, all of them will issue a "Notice" for rectification of potential safety hazards, and rectify within a time limit.
In this centralized investigation and rectification operation, the Economic Development Bureau dispatched more than 50 police personnel, inspected more than 160 stores along the street, 28 hotels and guesthouses, 36 shopping malls and supermarkets, issued 17 copies of the "Notice" for rectification of safety hazards within a time limit, and rectified 34 safety hazards on the spot. Through this inspection, a number of fire hazards were eliminated, the fire safety awareness of store operators was further enhanced, and a solid foundation was laid for the vast number of people in the jurisdiction to spend a safe and peaceful Spring Festival.
