@ National Ocean Forecast Station Weibo news, the National Ocean Forecast Station according to the "Marine Disaster Emergency Plan" issued a wave orange alert, said that by the joint impact of this year's No. 18 typhoon "compass" (typhoon level) and cold air, it is expected: from noon on October 13 to noon on the 14th, there will be 6 to 9 meters of wild waves in the northwest of the South China Sea to the wild wave area, and the wave warning level in the offshore waters will be orange; in the northeast, central and Beibu Gulf of the South China Sea, there will be 4 to 6 meters of huge waves to the wild wave area, and the wave warning level in the offshore waters will be yellow In the southern part of the East China Sea and the Taiwan Strait, there will be a large wave of 3 to 4 meters into the big wave area.

There will be huge waves of 4 to 5.8 meters in the coastal waters of western Guangdong and eastern Hainan, and the wave warning level in the coastal waters will be orange; in the coastal waters of eastern Guangdong, western Hainan and Guangxi, there will be large waves of 3 to 4 meters, and the wave warning level in the coastal waters will be yellow; the coastal waters of Zhejiang and Fujian will have a medium wave to large waves of 1.5 to 2.5 meters, and the wave warning level of the coastal waters will be blue.
