China Weather Network News At 15:40 on October 13, this year's No. 18 typhoon "Compass" landed in Qionghai, Hainan, and the intensity of landfall was typhoon level (12-13 level, 33-40 m/ s), becoming the strongest typhoon that landed in Hainan in the past five years. After the landing, the intensity gradually weakened, passing through Hainan Island, moving into the Beibu Gulf in the early morning of October 14, and then towards northern Vietnam.
