According to CCTV news, on January 28, the main person in charge of the torch relay of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee introduced the torch relay. Yang Haibin, deputy director of the special team operation of the torch relay of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee, introduced that the torch relay within the closed loop of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will be carried out at 10:30 a.m. on February 4 at the South Park of the Olympic Forest Park.

In terms of location selection, the closed-loop torch relay route is arranged in the Olympic Forest Park adjacent to the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube, as a symbol of the "City of The Two Olympics" and a pearl on the ancient central axis, in the forest park named after the "Olympic", the Olympic family members will experience the feeling of "home".

In terms of time arrangement, on the day of the opening ceremony of the Winter Olympic Games, in addition to the torch relay, the torch relay of the two parks of the Summer Palace and the Grand Canal Forest Park will be arranged before and after it.

From 00:00 on February 3 to 00:00 on February 5, the South Park of the Olympic Forest Park (including the square outside the South Gate) will be designated as a closed management area, and from 12:00 noon on February 3 to the end of the pass, the torch relay road of the South Park of the Olympic Forest Park and the toilets and squares outside the South Gate along the way will be accurately designated as a closed-loop management area. After the torch relay, the territorial government will carry out a comprehensive disinfection of the closed-loop area.

Yang Haibin stressed that in response to the slogan of "health, joy and vitality" of the torch relay, we advocate that the torchbearers can not wear masks when passing, and the rest of the time all staff should scientifically wear N95/KN95 medical masks at all times, and abide by the closed-loop epidemic prevention policies such as maintaining scientific social distance to complete hand washing and disinfection.
