Faker: We need to prepare well for DK, the Spring Festival is coming, I want to rest in a good mood

At yesterday's LCK Spring Games, T1 defeated NS 2-1 to achieve five consecutive wins after the start of the Spring Games, and with points and net wins, T1 and GEN are still tied for the first place in the LCK League. In yesterday's game, the plane used by Faker made a highlight and won the PPG, while the Tsar in the decider also contributed a very good performance.

After yesterday's match, Faker gave an interview to The Korean media, mentioning his feelings after five consecutive wins and some determination for future matches.

Faker: We need to prepare well for DK, the Spring Festival is coming, I want to rest in a good mood

--The team has won five in a row, how do you feel?

I feel good, we have a five-game winning streak. Because NS is right behind us, it's a meaningful win.

A few years ago, the T1 team had a tough time at the beginning of the season, but this year, it was a good start. Why do you think T1 has been doing so well this year since the beginning of the year?

One of the reasons should be that nothing has changed in our membership. Usually, in the spring, teams that can quickly adapt to the new environment tend to make rapid progress. As for us, we have a lot of discussion about the version.

Also, in previous seasons we have sometimes run into hot teams from the start and we need more time to adjust our form. This time, all of us were in good shape from the start. Factors like this are well combined, and I believe that's why.

You've said in interviews that airplanes are a boring choice, but you chose him first in the first race, why?

In LCK, the team prefers heroes who target their later stages. Airplanes often stand out late in the game, and yet no team copes well with that. In the current version, this is a good option, so I chose him first.

--The second game ended earlier than the other two, what was the problem?

The biggest problem was that we lost miserably in the vanguard, and then it turned into a huge snowball effect.

--In the third game, you chose the Tsar. Bdd was also a great user of the Tsar, was this a tactical choice or a preemptive ban?

Part of the reason was indeed to prevent Bdd from using the Tsar, but given the situation in the first two innings, we thought it was important for the team to fight in the third inning, so we chose the Tsar.

Polt has said he hopes to finish the previous year's game with six consecutive wins. Your next opponent is DWG KIA, what do you think will happen?

DWG KIA is a team that we really need to win. We just need to prepare well and since the Lunar New Year holiday is just around the corner, I want to start the break in a good mood.

--The current team atmosphere should be very good. For you, what are your teammates doing well and what are they not doing well?

Now, everyone is in good shape and they are very confident in the game. This is very positive now. On the other hand, as confident as they are, sometimes they are a little too confident. This can sometimes benefit the opponent. There is also a lot to be done in terms of operations.

--You mentioned operations. Now, people say that the further back the game, the stronger T1 gets, what do you think about that?

Lately, it's not just our problem. All the teams liked the late lineup, so we always had a lot of focus on operations for the sake of the later games. Until now, in terms of operations, the overall work has been done well, but there are still areas where we can and should improve.

People say you, Chovy, Bdd and ShowMaker are the top four singles players. Now, the four teams rank from first to fourth, and LoL fans say that the single is the most important in the current version. Do you agree?

In the current version, the middle road is indeed the most important. However, the top four teams are like this not only because of the top four singles players, but also because their teammates are doing well.

--Finally, is there anything else you want to say to your fans?

Happy Chinese New Year everyone.
