In 2021, arranged by the Publicity Department of the Taiyuan Municipal Party Committee, commissioned by the Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism and Taiyuan Radio and Television Station, the Taiyuan Dance Troupe created the original Chinese style dance "Song Shi Fanghua" inspired by the statue of the maid of the Jinci Temple.

The statues of the Virgin Mary and the Maid in the Temple of Our Lady were built during the Northern Song Dynasty and Yuan You, nearly a thousand years ago. In particular, the thirty-three statues of handmaidens have beautiful postures and different looks, and have high historical and cultural value.
The dance "Song Shi Fanghua" is inspired by the statue of the maid of the Notre Dame of the Jinci Temple, and in the choreography, it not only reflects the dignified atmosphere of the maids in the palace, but also reflects the beauty and liveliness of the maids in life.
The 33 actors used dance forms to comprehensively show the lives of the court maids of the Song Dynasty in the form of dance, combining human objects, costumes and makeup, hair styling, body movements, stage backgrounds, video special effects, etc.
