<h1>1. Racial selection</h1>
As we all know, the first thing to consider when choosing a race is the appearance, whether it looks good or not is very critical, otherwise why is the population of the blood elves so large, and the population of the dwarves will be so small? So it's clear that the Night Elves are the best hunter race in appearance, especially female Night Elves, who have the best bow pulling.
But if you put aside the appearance, simply look at the DPS improvement brought by the race specialty, then there is no doubt that the racial characteristics of the nostalgic service night elves have no substantial effect, the shadow is purely a functional specialty, and the swift only adds dodge in the old version, so the alliance players who want to pursue the dungeon damage may prefer to choose the dwarf hunter, after all, there is a pistol specialization, although there is a gap compared to the troll's bow specialization.

There are three races available for tribal hunters, namely the Bull's Head, orcs and Trolls, of which the Minotaur's racial specialty is also not improved on the DPS in the nostalgic clothing version, but the orcs and trolls have racial specialties that can affect the DPS, as shown in the following figure, you can refer to it.

The troll's rage at the time is calculated based on the current health, and when the remaining health is lower, it will have a higher attack speed bonus. Slaying beasts is a good specialty when facing beast-type monsters, and the bow specialization is also quite useful.
The orcs were like this, and it was clear that there was still a gap between them and the trolls, so theoretically the hunter race with the highest output at that time was the trolls. (Not to mention the Minotaur, a trampling, an endurance bonus, a medicinal specialization and a natural resistance, which does not help DPS either))

<h1>Second, the property selection</h1>
There is no bells and whistles of rapid, proficient, all-round, armor-breaking, sputtering, the attribute selection of that year seems to be very monotonous now, to be honest, it also dispels the idea of developing different "genres" by piling up different attributes, but due to the age, this side still lists the attribute needs of the nostalgic clothing hunter PVE, and it should be recalled with everyone.
Critical strike chance > hits (before 9%)> agility> attack > endurance
Let's start with hits ~ As a hunter, the good news is that your ranged attacks won't be overwhelmed. You'll have a 5% MISS rate when fighting against targets of the same level, but the quest boss defaults to being three levels higher than you, so you'll have an 8.6% MISS rate when attacking them, which is why you need 9% panel hits. In fact, the output is secondary, the key is that if the air shooting is serious, it will lead to the annihilation of the group, so 9% hit is very critical. You also don't have to pursue 9% hits completely on the equipment, but 6% hits are your bottom line, and the remaining 3% hits can be compensated with the talent tree, and the relevant talents will be given below, but it should be noted that this talent to make up for hits will also reduce your damage manufacturing ability.
Then there's the critical hit. Mainly, there were no rushes, proficiency, armor piercing, omnipot, and sputtering, and critical hits were one of the few optional attributes. Due to the existence of the talent "Lethal Shooting" (pictured below), hunters can get additional benefits from critical hits, and in nostalgic suits, the gain of 1% critical hits is about equal to 32 attack strength, which you can calculate by yourself.
Next is Agility, which benefits the Hunter a lot more than a simple attack strength, because 1 Agility is equal to 1 Melee Attack Strength, 2 Ranged Attack Strength and 2 Armor for Hunters, and 53 Agility provides 1% Critical Strike Chance, so for Hunters, each agility gain is about 3 attack strength.
Other attributes are not much to say, attack strength as a "unit of measurement" in the nostalgic suit for hunters far from hit (standard), critical strike chance and agility are important, you can not choose equipment when you can not be as simple and rough as now~
<h1>Third, the talent tree</h1>
In version 1.12, which will be used in the Nostalgia Suit, there are 4 common talents of Hunter PVE (although one I think is of little use), two of which are complementary hit strategies, one is the mainstream option after the hit is enough, and the other is the Beast King hunt with the Beast King plot.
Before we begin to formally introduce these four talents, let's explain that the "Enhanced Hunter Mark" talent points in the talent tree can be assigned to the "Hawkeye" (plus range) talent, and you can replace the players who have a need for range.
Master Survival Talent
The first is the so-called "Survival Hunt", where the talent "Solid" (the one with the kick icon) in the Survival system can provide 3% hits, so with this talent, you can cut your equipment hits to 6%. At the same time, this is also the talent that I just mentioned as relatively "useless", or it should be said that this set of talents is very useless in the early stage. Because in the early stage, the strong strike aura can bring high team benefits, and the 5% damage of the "ranged weapon specialization" is higher than the 15% agility benefit brought by the "lightning reflex" of the survival system, but in the late Naxxamas stage, the agility attributes provided by the equipment will be much higher than that of the blue stage, so this set of talents may be effective at that time (lightning reflection can amplify the agility gain).
Master shooting, excessive talent when hits are not enough
This is the second set of strategy for patch hits, and under this set of talents, only 6% of the equipment hits are also required. However, compared to the 20/31/0 talent of the equipment with 9% hits, the output ability of this set of talents is obviously insufficient, so it can only be used as a transition rather than a long-term solution.
Not very recommended "Beast King Hunt"
Friends who are obsessed with the Beast King can use this set of talents, but to be honest, they are not very recommended. Why? Because hunters did not have powerful skills such as "kill command" and "barb shooting" at that time, there were very few skills used for output in the regimental book. The second problem is that our hunter's pet has a large number of AOE damage reduction capabilities in the subsequent version, so pets are rarely killed by the BOSS's AOE, but because the nostalgic suit is called "original", the hunter pet's lack of AOE reduction is basically a nail in the coffin, in the PVE process, pets are easy to die violently, so choosing the Beast King PVE is really not an excellent choice, and the "strong strike aura" is also sacrificed under this talent.
This set of talents is the more mainstream choice after the equipment is formed.
Depending on the Raiders quest, you can choose to take 3 points from The Beast Master in "Ferocious" to invest in the Survival Talent of "Beast Killer" or "Humanoid Killer".
And although I said it earlier, here I have to say it again, the talent points in the "Enhanced Hunter Mark" can be moved at will, such as investing in "Hawkeye" to increase their range
<h1>4. Pets</h1>
Pets have actually been mentioned in many articles about nostalgic clothes hunters, and here I will only say some simple, conclusive things.
First of all, in the 1.12 version of the nostalgic suit, "Shadow Rubos" has been confirmed to be none, and you don't have to worry about it anymore.

But the good news is that this version of the wolf can howl and provide some buffs to teammates, although this thing can't make up for the regret of losing Ruboos. But as mentioned above, the nostalgic version of pets does not have an AOE reduction, so sometimes you need to adjust the pet to passive "standby", and wolves can play a role in standby because they have a howl buff.
The Wind Snake's lightning strike will also be preserved
Another piece of good news is that the wind snake's lightning strike skill is also there, and it is known that the wind snake's hand-to-hand combat ability is 3% weaker than that of vultures and cats, but there is a lightning strike that ignores the armor, so who will be the better choice than cats and vultures? This problem also requires further testing and more data samples after the nostalgic suit is turned on.
In addition, the pure competition of hand-to-hand combat ability, felines and vultures are actually the strongest, cats have higher attack speed, and vultures have higher single attack damage, but vultures have been ignored by hunter players.

Other pets do not appear in PVE activities very much, so I will not repeat them here.
<h1>V. "Techniques"...</h1>
To be honest, I originally thought that the hunter in the nostalgic suit did not even have a filling skill like "steady shooting", so there was no such thing as a "technique", but after digging deeper, it seems that some details still need to be done... And it's also about the "auto-shooting" in detail, which seems to sound very psychedelic, so read on.
The first thing to be clear is that a hunter who fights in the regimental capital requires only two output skills - "multiple shots" and "aim shots", and then supplemented by "hunter marks". Well, the question arises, "Why not stab with a viper" and "Why not shoot with arcane".
To answer the first question, the Nostalgia Suit has confirmed that it retains an old mechanism of the classic Old Age - only 16 DEBUFF can exist on the same hostile target at the same time. As a hunter, you need to give more important debuffs such as broken armor, imprints, and warlock spells to "make way", so the Viper Spike Sting will not be used in tuanben, which also solves the problem of choosing the Talent Tree before without the "Enhanced Viper Spike" talent.
The second question, "Why not use arcane shooting". Because the CD time of arcane shooting and aim shooting in the old version has a "shared" relationship. That's enough
Next up is... The so-called "hunter-out technique". Yes, although you only use 2 output skills on the surface, don't forget "Auto Shooter", based on the auto shooter output there are two different sets of "loops".
When your ranged weapon attack speed is greater than 3.0, which belongs to the "slow rate of fire, high single shot damage", you should select the "output loop" below to let the priority of automatic shooting > aim and shoot.

When your ranged weapon attack speed is less than 3.0, which is "fast rate of fire, low single shot damage", select the "output loop" below to let the priority of aiming and shooting > automatic shooting.

The difference between the two is that between multiple shots and second aim shots, the former is 2 automatic shots, and the latter only one automatic shot.
Because it is very important, so again, which method to use mainly depends on your weapon, slow (3.0 is the dividing line) + high single shot damage weapons use the first method, automatic fire priority; fast + low single shot damage weapons use the second method, aim and shoot first.
Also don't forget your burst skill - Rapid Shooting, 5 minute CD for 15 seconds, shorten the shooting interval by 40%.
