On January 27, according to the home appliance consumption network, Huang Xiuhong, the sister of Gome founder Huang Guangyu, will serve as the chairman of Gome Electrical Appliances, and Li Juntao, a veteran minister of Gome, will serve as vice president.

According to the Tianyancha App, Huang Xiuhong has a total of more than 330 companies, of which more than 200 are legal representatives and more than 50 are held by her in senior management positions. It is worth noting that most of the above-mentioned enterprises where Huang Xiuhong works have been written off, and only 14 are currently in existence or in business.

In 1991, Huang Xiuhong joined Gome and was responsible for finance. In 2005, he served as the general manager of Gome East China. After 2009, he became the president of Gome Holding Group.

As early as February 2021, Huang Guangyu, the founder of Gome, proposed that it would take 18 months to restore Gome's original market position. In April 2021, Huang Guangyu made his first public appearance and announced this goal and specific plan.

In the first half of 2021, Gome's retail revenue was 26.04 billion yuan, an increase of 7 billion yuan year-on-year; the comprehensive gross profit margin was 14.25%, an increase of 2.6% over the same period last year, and the net profit attributable to the mother was 1.974 billion yuan, a decrease of more than 500 million yuan year-on-year.
