After Karim Benzema's injury, arsenal's potential transfer target Jovic is less likely to leave Real Madrid.
Marca reported that Real Madrid had closed the door to Jovic's departure due to concerns about Benzema's injury.
While Benzema's current injury doesn't look serious, this is his second injury in a short period of time, setting off alarm bells for Real Madrid.
Marca said arsenal and Real Madrid have a strong cooperative relationship, but the Gunners did not make an offer, and real Madrid executives also believe that it is not a good time to let Jovic go at this time.
AFP correspondent Tom Allnutt said Jovic did not particularly want to leave Real Madrid and planned to stay in the squad and then re-evaluate his options at the end of the season.
Arsenal's potential interest in Jovic has been reported in some media outlets in recent days.
Juventus became increasingly reluctant to let Artur leave the squad this month, forcing Arsenal to consider other midfielders.
The Athletic reported that Arsenal are confident of reaching a deal with Juve and will be on loan for Artur for six months.
But Juve initially wanted Arsenal to accept an 18-month loan deal, and now they are somewhat reluctant to let him go.
Arteta and Edu have always admired Artur, and the players themselves are interested in transfers. He believes the Premier League could provide him with a platform to take off and thus be selected for the Brazilian national team before the World Cup.
A small piece of good news is that Juve are looking to bring in a midfielder – Najtan Nandez in Cagliari. If he can be signed, then the possibility of the old woman letting Artur leave the team will increase.
For now, though, there doesn't look like much of a chance to close the deal in the last few days of the winter window.

Neves (Wolves), Adams (RB Leipzig), Guimarães (Lyon, already in Newcastle) and Douglas Luiz (Aston Villa) are all on Arsenal's list. The problem is that any one of them is not readily available in the winter window.
That's one of the reasons Artur is attractive, he'll join on loan, allowing Arsenal to make long-term decisions in the summer window.
Whether Arsenal can introduce one of the above targets in the final days or look for another short-term option remains to be seen.
