James Brown (May 3, 1933 – December 25, 2006).
He began his singing career in 1953.
In 1965, James Brown won the Grammys for Best R&B for Daddy's New Bag, and from the 1950s to the mid-1970s, two changes in the American music scene were related to him.
James Brown recorded more than 50 albums and over 119 singles in his lifetime.
Brown won two Grammy Awards in 1965 and 1987 and was crowned the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 1992.
He was also one of the first singers to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1986.
He died of pneumonia in the United States at 1:45 a.m. on December 25, 2006 at the age of 73.
