On 26 January 2022, the WST released the Turkish Masters signing form. The Chinese team consists of 24 players, including Yan Bingtao and Zhao Xintong. Ding Junhui drew a good draw and will play Pagat again in the first round of qualifying. O'Sullivan became the only absentee in the TOP16, and Wu and Hendry did not sign up.
The Turkish Masters will be held from March 7-13 at the fantastic Nirvana Hotel in Antalya, turkey's tourist city. The qualification rounds for the top four seeded players (Selby, Trump, Neil Robertson and Karen Wilson) will be postponed to the main tournament, and Wafi and Tachaia will also enjoy the postponement of the local wild card players. All the remaining players are required to compete in a round of 5 qualifying in Leicester from February 2-6.
This will be the first time in Turkey's history that the Snooker Ranking Tournament will be held, with a total prize money of up to £500,000, of which the winner's prize money is £100,000. WST announced that it has reached a four-year agreement with the Turkish Billiards Federation and Big Break Communications to host the Turkish Masters every season at least until the 2024/2025 season, and the total prize money will also increase year by year.
