Watford officially announced that 74-year-old coach Hodgson has come out of the mountains to serve as the club's head coach, which is the 16th official manager Watford has appointed in the past 10 years, according to Sky Sports statistics. The average reign of the previous 15 managers was only 255 days, which is 27 days less than the total number of days in the Premier League's 2021/22 season.
Watford appointed Ranieri as manager in October last year, but the Italian boss left school after only 112 days in charge. Ranieri's reign ranks fourth from the bottom of Watford's 16 managers in 10 years.
