Now, Ren Luwei and his colleagues are inspecting the Dongming Yellow River Wetland Park, which is also one of the five key bird monitoring points in the county.

According to the staff, the total area of Dongming Yellow River National Wetland Park is 317.6 hectares, of which the wetland area is 246 hectares, and the wetland rate is 77.6%.

In recent years, the park has successively implemented wetland protection and restoration, returning farmland to forest, and other projects.

Since the establishment of the wetland park in 2012, the environment has continued to improve, attracting a large number of wild animals to inhabit the park every year.

Today, Dongming County's national first-class protected birds can reach more than 400 great bustards, the national second-level protected birds gray crane can reach more than 1,000, and there are more than 200 baby swans.

This has become a home for cherishing birds to survive, and the scene of hundreds of birds flying is not accidental, and behind it is also a lot of painstaking efforts made by the staff to protect the ecological environment.
