The Taiping site is one of the super-large central settlement sites in the prehistoric period of Shaanxi. Preliminary chronological research is around 4,000 years ago, at a critical stage from the end of prehistory to the beginning of civilization. The excavation and research of cultural relics in this period is of great significance for exploring the transition from prehistoric culture to early civilization. The Taiping site has excavated jade huang, jade bi, jade knife and pottery plate ornaments, pottery bells and other ceremonial utensils and bones, and there are elements from other contemporaneous cultures in the surrounding areas in the cultural remains, which is of great significance for exploring the origin process of China's multi-source civilization.

The archaeological harvest of Baling corrected the mistakes in historical documents, determined the location of the Tomb of emperor Of Han and its scale, layout and connotation, and conjured with the historical chain of the evolution of the shape and system of the Western Han Emperor's mausoleum, laying the foundation for the ancient Chinese imperial tomb system. A large number of precious cultural relics unearthed from Baling reflect the construction concept of "Mausoleum Ruoduyi" and Imperial Tomb "imitating the Western Han Empire in reality", confirming the exchange, collision and integration of multi-ethnic cultures, and witnessing the historical development trend of Chinese civilization from "pluralism" to "integration".

Xianyang Hongdu was originally the first choice for high-grade tombs from the Qin and Han dynasties to the Sui and Tang dynasties of the Warring States, with a large scale, high rank and long duration, completely outlining the sequence of ancient tomb development and evolution for more than 2200 years, which is unprecedented in the history of Chinese archaeology.

The Zhouyuan site has found a large rammed earth building in the pre-Zhou period, filling the gap of high-grade buildings in the previous Zhouyuan ruins without the pre-Zhou period, combined with the previous understanding of the scale and cultural nature of the settlement, it can be affirmed that the Zhouyuan ruins are the place where the ancient gonggong father moved to Qi.

As the main gate of China's first emperor's mausoleum, the east gate of the outer city of Qin Shi Huang's mausoleum can be called "the first gate of the empire", and its excavation harvest has been an in-depth exploration of the construction concept, planning layout and mausoleum system of Qin Shi Huang Mausoleum, which has provided new information and laid a solid foundation for the study of the history of ancient Chinese thought and the history of ancient Chinese architecture.

Only two well-preserved Yuan family cemeteries have been found in Shaanxi. The Zhao family tomb is one of them. The 9 tombs of the Zhao family run through the Yuan Dynasty, the sequence is complete, the burial products are rich and most of them have not been stolen in situ, which is a precious material for studying the layout of the Yuan Dynasty family cemetery, burial customs and the history and culture of the Yuan Dynasty. The Zhao family tomb has rarely unearthed more than 30 pieces of porcelain, with a variety of utensils, and the porcelain kiln mouth involves longquan kiln, Jingdezhen kiln, Jun kiln, Shanxi Huozhou kiln, Yaozhou kiln and other famous kilns in the north and south, which is the largest number of porcelain excavated from the Shaanxi Yuan Tomb since the 1950s and the richest batch of kilns.
