The sequel to the movie "Lies" starring Kiichi Nakai & Kuranosuke Sasaki was released

On November 11, the production company GAGA Corporation announced that a sequel to the movie "Lies" will be filmed, which was released in January last year and co-starred Keiichi Nakai and Kuranosuke Sasaki. It is scheduled to be released in January 2020. The film will move the stage from Osaka to Kyoto, with the samurai of the tea man Senritsu and the dream tea set of the tea man Furuta Oribe as the pivot point. Nakai plays antiques dealers Koike and Sasaki as the potter Noda. The sequel will add a new character, namely Ryoko Hiromi playing the role of Madonna who confuses the two. This time, the director of "Hundred Yuan Love" Wu Zhengqing and the screenwriter Adachi Gentry are partnered again.

Set in Osaka Sakai, a tea ceremony mecca, the upper part tells the story of a discredited antique dealer, Norio Koike (Nakai), who meets potter Sasuke Noda, and involves his family, authoritative appraiser, and cultural agency to deceive around Senritsu's dream tea set. Although it was only released in 73 theaters nationwide, the number of spectators reached 39,208, and the box office revenue reached 48,865,800 yen, ranking 8th in the country in the same period.

Ryoko Hiromi starred in a new role as Kimono Beauty Shino, who is closely related to Koike, Noda, and Dream Tea Set. Hiromi and Nakai played husband and wife in the 2014 film Pomegranate Slope's Revenge, and co-starred with Sasaki in the 2003 ex-boyfriend (TBS TV) and other dramas. Regarding the re-cooperation with the two, Guangmu made the following comments:

"I have played husband and wife roles with Mr. Kiichi Nakai before, and Mr. Kiichi's delicate acting skills and gentlemanly attitude are very attractive, and he is an actor I like very much, so it is an honor for me to be able to perform together again. Mr. Kuranosuke Sasaki has worked together many times since he was a teenager, and each time he enjoys the shooting because of Mr. Kuranosuke's soft acting skills and the right rhythm, so he is very happy to be able to cooperate again, and I am very much looking forward to this shooting."
