In this way, Camorella was tortured for 36 hours, and by this moment he had fallen into a state of fainting. Raphael Carlo Quintero saw that he could not ask anything and decided to end his life. A gunman used a steel bar to smash Camorela's skull and dispose of his body.

On March 6, 1985, the bodies of Camorella and another agent were found on the highway side of the U.S.-Mexico border.

The forensic autopsy report fully disclosed Camoreira's pain for 36 hours, except for multiple broken bones throughout his body, and the skin of his legs was peeled off.
