The other six judges are: American film director and screenwriter Rob Cohen, Chinese actor Duan Yihong, Polish composer and producer Jenn Kazmellick, Romanian film director Karin Pitt Netzer, Swedish film director and screenwriter Ruben Ostrund, and Chinese actress Shu Qi.

In addition to the main competition unit 'Temple of Heaven Award', this year's Beijing International Film Festival will be composed of seven main activities: the opening ceremony, The Beijing Screening, the Beijing Planning and Theme Forum, the Film Market, the Film Carnival, and the Closing Ceremony and Award Ceremony. For the "Beijing Screening" unit, which is of great concern to Beijing citizens, the reporter learned from the press conference that the Organizing Committee Office has selected nearly 500 film masterpieces, forming 18 screening units from April 6, 32 commercial theaters, art theaters and university theaters in Beijing for a 17-day concentrated screening.

As the core section of the film festival, the "8th Beijing International Film Festival Film Market", which focuses on film practitioners, will be held at the Beijing International Hotel from April 18 to April 20, and this year's film market is divided into five major sections: investment exhibition, project venture capital, industry dialogue, special activities and signing ceremony.

At the end of the press conference, Wang Jue, editor-in-chief of Beijing Television Station and executive deputy secretary general of the organizing committee, introduced the design concept of the official poster of the 8th Beijing International Film Festival "Climbing the Peak Again" and announced the official poster was officially released. This year's Beijing International Film Festival will be held in Beijing from April 15 to 22.

Chairman of the Jury: Wong Kar Wai

Born on 29 April 1953, Jenn Kazmelik grew up and educated in Poland.

An Oscar-winning composer, Jenn has produced scores for more than 60 films, including In Search of Neverland, The Tale of Hachiko the Loyal Dog, Infidelity, Visitor to Life, Garden of Eden in The Fire, War and Peace, Where Are You Going, The Eclipse of hearts, and Washington Square.

He moved to the United States in 1989 and began scoring for theatrical performances. In 1992, Jenn wrote for John Ford, Joanna Ford. Ruben Ostlund was born in 1974 on The Island of Stills in Gothenburg, Sweden.

Ostlund began directing ski-related films in the 1990s before studying film at the University of Gothenburg. His first feature-length film, The Guitar Mongol (2004), won the Fabisi Prize at the 2005 Moscow International Film Festival.
