Collecting is quite risky, the cultural relics left over from ancient times have a long history, even if there is a study of ancient history, it is not necessarily possible to distinguish the authenticity of cultural relics in vain. In addition, there are many scammers in the cultural relics market, because the price of cultural relics is high, and they can obtain huge profits as soon as they change hands, and many people are tricked by these scammers. The liar I want to talk about today is not an ordinary liar, and even went on TV to deceive people, how clever is his deception?

Now there are many treasure hunting programs on TV, in which cultural relics experts will be invited to sit, and collectors will bring the treasures in their hands to the program for these experts to identify. In September 2009, the Zhu Yun brothers took their heirloom "Songyang Hanbotu" to a treasure hunting program in Henan. "Songyang HanBaitu" is a painting by Qianlong, who was hunting in Songyang at that time and saw the cypress tree that Emperor Wu of Han had sealed in the past. The Qianlong Emperor was already forty years old when he painted, and if it was the emperor's real handiwork, it would certainly be immeasurable. What is even more precious is that the cypress tree in Qianlong's painting has a history of more than 4,000 years and is 18.5 meters high, which is the largest surviving pine tree in the mainland.
The expert who identified the painting is called Liu Yan, who said that it is not authentic and can only sell for about 30,000 yuan. Zhu he and the brothers were very discouraged and planned to leave, and the treasure expert spent 170,000 yuan to "cleverly" qianlong's true handwriting. Experts said that they could ask their friend to buy the painting at a high price, and later this friend came to Zhu He's home and spent 170,000 yuan to buy "Songyang Hanbotu", although Zhu He brothers were unwilling, but they thought that they had sold the price higher than the market price, so they did not ask about the painting again.
In 2010, Zhu and his brothers saw a news item on TV that their heirloom "Songyang Hanbotu" sold for 87.36 million yuan. Zhu He, who suddenly realized that he had been deceived by Liu Yan, also sold the painting for 80 million yuan, so he planned to find Liu Yan to settle the account. Zhu He sued Liu Yan in court, but Liu Yan claimed that he knew nothing about the authenticity of the paintings, and that the sale of cultural relics was inherently risky, which naturally could not be regarded as a crime. Later, law enforcement officers investigated Liu Yan, but the results were very unexpected.
It turned out that there was also a Liu Yan in the cultural relics circle, this person was a real expert, and this liar Liu Yan borrowed Liu Yan's resume and name, and even deceived the TV station. These two Liu Yan's real names are Liu Yan, and they have not stolen the identities of others, plus many people cannot distinguish between the two of them, so this does not constitute fraud.
In the end, the law enforcement personnel did not find evidence of Liu Yan's deception, so they acquitted him, and later Liu Yan still worked in the name of a cultural relics expert, but people no longer trusted the so-called "experts".
