Bai Baoshan, born in 1958 in An ordinary family in Shijingshan, Beijing, his parents are working-class, the family has good economic conditions, and the family is still relatively happy.
However, the change occurred when he was 3 years old, with the death of his father, his mother remarried, and the young Bai Baoshan was sent back to his hometown in Hebei.
Originally living in a big city in Beijing, he suddenly returned to his hometown in Hebei, and this gap made the young Bai Baoshan feel abandoned.

In 1971, 19-year-old Bai Baoshan returned to Beijing to work as a stevedor at the Shijingshan First Electric Carbon Factory.

On the night of March 31, 1996, Bai Baoshan attacked a security guard and snatched a Type 56 semi-automatic rifle. It turned out that the rifle was too big to hide on the body.
On the evening of April 7, Bai Baoshan attacked the armored corps headquarters at the Eight Major Divisions in Xishan, Beijing, intending to snatch the pistols equipped by the sentries.
This time he did not succeed, but he was safe, and he managed to escape after shooting and wounding a sentry and six riot squad members.
On April 22, the thief Bai Baoshan came to the Bayi shooting range and attacked the sentry again, snatching the sentry's holster and finding that there was no pistol inside.

On April 26, 2005, xie Zongfen was given the opportunity to commute his sentence and was released early because of his good performance in prison.
