On January 20, 1972, the company's founder, Tony Roma, opened his flagship restaurant, Tony Roma's, in north Miami, Florida. The restaurant quickly became one of the most popular in Miami and took a place in the market.

Over the years, countless loyal customers, thousands of families and new friends have visited the restaurant to taste the popular American pork ribs. Originally a family specialty, these specialty pork chops are now enjoyed by guests from all over the world. Tony Roma is a full-service, family-friendly dining destination with a presence on 5 continents, offering customers its world-renowned American grilled pork ribs, as well as revered classics including cream shrimp, onion bread, Miami burgers and beef tenderloin. Recently, the brand announced its visionary new leadership team who are paving the way for the next phase of the brand's growth to expand the brand and Tony Rome's dining experience portfolio.

Later this year, the brand plans to cater to takeaway customers by launching a sample restaurant covering more than 278 square meters and Bones & Burgers™, a 46-square-meter fast-casual concept restaurant, but the restaurant will continue to use the same quality ingredients, freshly made in authentic fast-service spaces.

The company plans to open 200 Tony Roma restaurants over the next decade, with a focus on the Middle East, Asia and the U.S. markets. The latest Tony Rome restaurant will open in North Carolina this summer and another one in Montana by the end of the year.
