This 101㎡ 2-bedroom apartment is the marriage room of two owners who studied in the UK together, returned to China to work, and settled their home in the Lido Embassy District in Beijing. For them, the new home is a small milestone in the struggle and the beginning of a better life, so they have high hopes for the decoration design of the new home.

Original layout:
1. The apartment type sits north and faces south, and the lighting is good. The space layout is reasonable, there is no excess traffic area, only need to do local fine-tuning in the sub-bathroom shower area and the cloakroom of the master bedroom.
2. The north side has an outdoor terrace of about 40 square meters, and a straight line with the kitchen-living room-south balcony, making the whole apartment more transparent and open, which is very suitable for making an open pattern.

The kitchen at the time of handover is clean and white, and the effect is slightly flat.
In the reloaded kitchen, the protagonist is elegant black, with brass handles and a whole snakeskin pattern of rock slabs, the aura is powerful.
On the left side is the West Kitchen Area, which is also the Home Bar of the male owner. For this beloved corner, the couple of homeowners will go to the bar and hotel lobby Bar every weekend to find inspiration, and then send their favorite effects to the designers to discuss.
The black wall tiles are the best set boards for wines, and the brass shelves filled with wine and glassware blend into the black, adding a deep and mellow atmosphere. On weekend nights, turn on the dimly lit atmosphere lights in the corner, and the slightly drunk tavern is officially "open"
The middle kitchen area is a combination of two sets of high cabinets + countertops, the cabinet wall tiles are different from the west kitchen area, and the blue and yellow art wall tiles are used as the main tone, which has the texture of Impressionist paintings.
The high cabinet on the left contains an oven and microwave oven, and on the right is a built-in refrigerator. The range hood in the middle opts for a powerful top-suction type.
The snakeskin pattern rock slab countertops used on the island platform can be used both for dishes and tables.
There is also an expandable area between the island and the living room, where the regular dining table can be placed directly on the side of the island.
The advantage of the open kitchen is that it can be interconnected with other public spaces, and you will not be bored when cooking in the kitchen, and you can look out the window and chat with people in the living room.
Living room
The two owners rarely watch TV at home, so the living room abandons the traditional structure of "TV-centric", and encloses a small space full of design and warmth with a two-seat sofa + single chair + lazy sofa.
The honey-colored TOGO lazy couch, like a large chunk of soft and sweet toffee, nestled in it will pass unconsciously all afternoon...
Born in 1925, the senior "net red" - Vasily single chair, with the female owner's "love at first sight" IKEA TALLBYN floor lamp, very classic beauty of Bauhaus period design.
The low black bookshelf cabinet on the side of the sofa echoes the black cabinet.
Low bookshelves are versatile and can display artwork, ornaments, greenery, or storage. The pleasant scale allows people sitting on the couch to get their favorite books at their fingertips.
The coffee table uses transparent glass + white marble material to minimize unnecessary elements in the vision.
The decorative fireplace is a durable minimalist shape with a black marble finish that enhances the temperament of the entire space. Although decorative, the designers wanted to add the chimney that a real fireplace would have to add realism and enrich the layers of the wall.
Decorative fireplace construction is divided into 3 stages:
1, the wall construction stage, workers in the position of the fireplace with gypsum board and light steel keel to do a good job of the base, the lower niches are mainly to increase the depth of the fireplace.
2, fireplace installation stage, after doing a good job at the grassroots level, marble manufacturers in accordance with the designer's design drawings to install.
3. In the decorative stage, the chimney brushes the art paint to increase the sense of texture.
Workspace
The owner occasionally works from home, so there is a light office area in the living room near the balcony.

Master bedroom
The master bedroom is decorated in terracotta, warm and elegant.
Inspired by the Moroccan city of Marrakech, in Arabic, "Marrakech" means "red", because the walls of that year were made of ochre red rock and are still largely preserved. Stroll along the red walls of the Old Town and you'll be greeted by a sight that seems to be a throwback to that distant medieval era.
The two wall lamps are lit up, like the most beautiful dusk before sunset, quiet and gentle.
The chest of drawers at the end of the bed complements the cloakroom's small belongings.
Both owners love to read, and there is a cozy reading corner in the bedroom.
The cloakroom and the main bathroom are arches, adding a bit of romance to the exotic bedroom
Main Guard
Bathroom oil painting sense wall tiles and Chinese kitchen wall tiles are the same, the effect of large-scale paving is very good ~ with the same texture of beige cloth tiles, the texture is delicate and rich.
The ceiling of the bathtub area adopts a 3000K warm color diffuse reflective light strip, which simulates the effect of sky light, and does not directly hit the eyes when bathing, and it is more atmospheric.
The alcove light strip also uses the same warm color strip, but because the light is reflected on the blue wall tiles, it will be a little cold, and the designer of the detail control purchased a color-changing film that corrects the color of the light, and warms the light color to be consistent with the ceiling light strip.
The second bedroom is equipped with a sofa bed and bunk beds, so you can stay here when friends and family visit. Under the high bed is a locker for all kinds of sundries. At the same time, the second bedroom is set up separately with a liftable desk, when the living room is noisy, or need to work overtime all night, you can work here to rest.

The right side of the entrance was previously a deep storage room, which was transformed into an alcove. Spotlights are placed on the plants and knick-knacks carefully selected by the owners of the house, and the ritual of entering the house is full of feelings.
In addition to the shoe cabinet on the right, a set of storage cabinets combining a hanging wardrobe and a shoe changing stool was also made on the left.
The overall cement brick texture of the sub-bathroom, the mirror cabinet on the whole side expands the space, and also hides the electric water heater. In fact, the community has 24-hour hot water supply, but in order to prevent the hot water maintenance or non-heat of the community, the owner of the house has installed an instantaneous electric water heater.
The width of the remodeled shower is 110cm, and if you use the ordinary two-way door, you will feel uncomfortable entering and leaving. The designers used three-linked sliding doors to ensure a spacious passage.

Before the renovation
The large terrace that comes with the apartment type is actually a split-level platform connecting the greenery and aisles of the community, so without destroying the original ground, the planting of large plants and the paving of the stone path cannot be realized.
The designers adopted the scheme of making outdoor anti-corrosion wood on the original ground, while using anti-corrosion wood to build fences, flower boxes, and card holders connecting flower boxes.
The overall terrace is divided into two areas, high and low, and the anti-corrosion wood area on the steps is placed with a 2-meter outdoor dining table and surrounded by card seats, which are mainly used for friends and family gatherings.
On the other side is a sofa area enclosed by wooden fences and plants, and the owner has purchased an outdoor sofa combination and umbrella for waterproof and sunscreen, and when the weather is good, the couple will make a meal and bring it here to enjoy slowly.
N outdoor storage boxes were made around the fence to store tools, grills, cleaning tools and other debris to supplement the storage function of indoor sundries.
