Having said that, the place behind Li Lianying's back is very luxurious! The ground floor structure of the tomb is made of gold silk nan wood. You must know that the golden silk nan wood is very precious!
Golden silk nan wood, which grows extremely slowly, has always been the top wood used by the royal family and nobles! The reason why Li Lianying was able to use the luxurious golden silk nan wood as the raw material for her coffin was due to Empress Dowager Cixi's favor for her. It should be known that as early as the Yongzheng period, the palace internal affairs office built Enjizhuang in the west of Beijing to unify the management of the eunuch's death and burial. From the Yongzheng period to the end of the Qing Dynasty, more than 2,700 eunuchs were buried in Enjizhuang. However, Li Lianying, because of the extra favor of Empress Dowager Cixi, was able to make an exception to build a separate cemetery. This was already a supreme grace in the harsh late Qing society, and the construction level in Li Lianying's cemetery was comparable to that of the imperial tomb!
The reason why Li Lianying was deeply favored by the empress dowager was that he was good at reading people's hearts, and when Empress Dowager Cixi was seriously ill and bedridden in the Yiluan Palace, Li Lianying was worried. Only because he understood that all his glory and status were closely related to the empress. It was recorded in the Records of Court Life in the Late Qing Dynasty, "When the empress dowager and Li Lianying exchange eunuchs to greet each other, they lived with three meals a day and in the morning and evening, or greeted each other in person." It can be seen from this that the master and servant are deeply divided, and the empress dowager can be said to have great trust in them. Even with such grace, Li Lianying still did not want to become one of the martyrs of Empress Dowager Cixi. In order to get rid of the wind and rain that was very likely to come at any time, he worried day and night about how to save his life from the threat of martyrdom. Li Lianying can be described as a painstaking effort. On November 14, 1908, the Guangxu Emperor died in the East Pavilion of the Yangxin Hall, and then on November 15, the 74-year-old Empress Dowager Cixi also died at the Yiluan Hall. Although Li Lianying was lucky enough to escape the fate of martyrdom, his glorious patron Empress Dowager Cixi was already dead, so where should he go?
After serving the empress dowager for a hundred days, Li Lianying wrote to ask Empress Longyu for permission to return to her hometown. On the second day of the second lunar month in 1909, he finally successfully obtained the approval of Empress Longyu and left the Colosseum, which had worried him for 52 years. He entered the palace at the age of 9 and left the palace at the age of 61, and these fifty-two years were like a big dream for him, and he could not look back.
This great eunuch full of power and scheming could not have imagined that in the special period of 10 years of turmoil, he would also end up in the wilderness of exposing his corpse. And the young man who excavated his mausoleum did not expect that Li Lianying's mausoleum would give them an unexpected fright! During that special period, it took the young people a whole week to dig out a two-meter-wide opening in Li Lianying's tomb, but the main building of the mausoleum was still unscathed, and when the young people excavated part of the soil layer of the mausoleum, they encountered granite obstruction. Just when everyone was helpless, the appearance of a mysterious old man brought a turning point to the event, and everyone successfully found the entrance to the mausoleum according to the instructions of the old man!
At the entrance that was about to open, the hearts of the people were very excited, and the boys took a lot of effort to finally smoothly remove the stones covered above the tomb. At this moment, the hole in the ground was completely exposed to everyone's eyes! After everyone entered the tomb, they found that they had actually bypassed the tomb passage directly into the front chamber of the tomb, and this was a three-meter square hall, the entire front room was made of white jade, the east and west walls were embedded with extremely exquisite carvings, and there were two extremely exquisitely carved stone doors on the north and south sides!
The south gate is connected to the burial passage, while the north gate is connected to the burial chamber. There is also a door on each side of the tomb passage stacked with white jade, one of which leads to the burial chamber, and this stone door does not move at all. It was as if a loyal guard was doing his best to guard his sleeping master.

But this regrettable hole is not a natural formation. It is a kind of ancient special book burial custom, known as Jinjing Jade Burial!
