author:China Daily

Tianjin North Network News: As the "first initiative for targeted poverty alleviation", the achievements and experience of the eighteen-hole village in Xiangxi, Hunan Province, in poverty alleviation and prosperity, are a vivid epitome of the country's efforts to get rid of poverty and move towards a well-off society in an all-round way. As the pillar industry of the Eighteen-Hole Village, the cultural tourism industry has also become an important local road to get rich, attracting more and more young people to return to their hometowns to start a business. In 2020, Shi Kang, a "post-95" college student in Eighteen-Hole Village, decided to use the professional knowledge he learned to return to his hometown to do a big job.

While truly feeling the great changes in the mountains and townships, Shi Kang also gradually realized that the road to rural revitalization in the Eighteen-Hole Village must find the right point of strength and promote the integration of industry, culture and ecology. On the one hand, the Eighteen-Hole Village is composed of four natural villages: Pear Village, Bamboo Village, Flying Worm Village, and Dangrong Village, and the tourism route is concentrated in Pear Village. There is still a lot of room for demand for the development of tourist attractions and the supply of tourism products. On the other hand, the local "Eighteen Caves", alpine canyons and other rich ecological resources and unique cultural resources such as Miao embroidery, Miao song, Miao drum and other unique cultural resources have broad prospects for development.

In 2021, Shi Kang served as the secretary of the Eighteen-Hole Village Youth League Branch, and led the establishment of the Eighteen-Hole Village New Youth E-commerce Studio, three returnees from eighteen-hole village with different personalities and distinctive characteristics, writing the struggle answer sheet belonging to the new youth of the eighteen-hole village in their own way
