This year is the 27th year since the launch of the national health culture and technology "three visits to the countryside" activity. In Yangzhou, the annual "three visits to the countryside" is also the most abundant and warmest centralized service activity at the municipal level before the Spring Festival, which is welcomed by the masses everywhere.

The "three going to the countryside" centralized service activities include theoretical study and publicity, display of civilization achievements, medical and health services, exhibition and sales of characteristic products, as well as literary and artistic culture, science popularization practice service activities, etc. Zhang Changjin, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and director of the Propaganda Department, attended the event and visited veteran party members and outstanding volunteer representatives.

At about 12:30, two women's dragon and lion dance teams organized by the Gaoyou City Cultural Center arrived at the square to familiarize themselves with the venue. Hearing the gongs and drums, the nearby villagers passed ten or ten hundred and gradually gathered towards the square.

"It's rare to see the dragon and lion dance, plus it's all lesbian, everyone is very curious." Zhou Shelin, a resident of Diben Village, and a few old guys watched the performance while waiting for the "three to the countryside" activity to start.

Turning the square around, free clinics, home appliance maintenance, anti-fraud education, agricultural technology consultation, intangible cultural heritage display, Zhou Shelin had a number of specific activities in the "three to the countryside".

The word Fu was in demand, and more than 50 writers and artists collectively joined the battle

Every year, "three trips to the countryside", literary and artistic activities are the most eye-catching, and this year is no exception. Especially in front of the Writing Spring League service desk, the villagers circled around one after another.

Anticipating the hot atmosphere, 6 calligraphers from Yangzhou and Gaoyou poured ink half an hour in advance. Even so, the written Spring League and Fu Zi were taken out in less than a minute or two.

"The word 'Fu' is so well written, I asked for three, and when I got home, I posted it on the door." Rolling up the Fu character in one hand, Zhang Guixiang opened his mouth and asked, "Master, can you help me write the vice Spring League's 'Spring Return to the Earth and Blessings on earth'?" ”

"Today, we and the Yangzhou Municipal Federation of Literature and Literature organized more than 50 writers and artists from the Calligraphers Association, the Musicians Association, the Opera Artists Association, the Dancers Association, and the Folk Writers Association to participate in the on-site activities. At the event, Zhang Changjin visited Zhou Guihong, a veteran soldier of the War of Resistance Against Japan, and Wang Minfang, an outstanding volunteer, and sent condolences and daily necessities.

Zhou Guihong is 96 years old this year. He joined the army in January 1945 and fought in the Battle of Huaihai and was disabled. After being demobilized, Zhou Guihong continued to devote himself to the construction of the socialist cause, and worked in the Guoyuan Brigade and Guoyuan Village (now Diben Village) for more than 30 years. Wang Minfang, 72 years old this year, after retiring from the education post in 2006, took the initiative to join the town's "five elders" volunteer team, funded more than 20 students in difficulty, more than 50 widows and the elderly, and donated to the Wenchuan and Yushu earthquake-stricken areas and the Hope Project.

Zhang Changjin learned in detail about the living conditions of the two elderly people, paid tribute to them, paid tribute to their early years, and wished the elderly good health and family happiness. Wang Minfang thanked the party and the government for their concern, and said that he would continue to exert his residual heat and do his best to help more people in need.
