Two silver and three bronze! Provincial Games ski competition, Xiangyang won the "opening red"

On January 19th, the 16th Hubei Provincial Games Social Club Ski (Snowboard, Alpine) Competition and the 2nd Hubei Provincial Ice and Snow Conference came to an end in Yichang Wufeng International Ski Resort. 137 athletes from 13 cities and prefectures in the province raced in the snow, and Xiangyang athletes won two silver and three bronze results.

The ski competition is the first event of the 16th Hubei Provincial Games, and it is also the first time since 1952 that the Provincial Games have held an ice and snow event. The Municipal Bureau of Culture and Tourism organized social clubs to actively participate. After fierce competition, Meng Yushuai from Qinghekou Primary School in the city won the second place in the men's group A of the snowboarding slalom event, Chen Yuting from Zaoyang Children's Sports School won the second place in the women's group B, Luo Haoyu from the Zaoyang Children's Sports School won the third place in the men's group A, Li Jiahang from the Zhaomingtai Primary School won the third place in the men's group B, and Zhao Qi won the third place in the adult group.

It is understood that the competition was held in Yichang Wufeng International Ski Resort. Li Zhengjun, the leader of the Xiangyang Municipal Team, introduced that this is the first competition event of the 16th Provincial Games, and it is also the first time since 1952 that the Provincial Games have joined the ice and snow event. The competition lasted for two days, with a total of 138 athletes from 18 teams in the province participating, and the city is also the first time to send athletes to participate in the project.
