On January 20th, the exhibition "Painting in The Season of Spring", co-sponsored by the Guangdong Provincial Museum and Guangzhou Metro Group Co., Ltd., was officially exhibited in the Guangzhou Tower Station Hall of guangzhou metro APM line, looking forward to having a spring "encounter" with you.
"Seasonal painting" refers to paintings produced under the influence of traditional Chinese customs and created at specific times such as seasonal seasons, traditional festivals, and anniversaries, with clear time nodes, clear theme content, relatively fixed image patterns, and suitable use functions, which are passed down from generation to generation year after year.
This exhibition is based on the Guangdong Provincial Museum's "Making in Time - Painting Exhibition in Traditional Chinese Seasons", selecting special collections related to "Spring", and showing the vibrant "Spring Scene" and people's yearning and pursuit of a better life in the new year with 48-meter-long pictures. The exhibition is divided into two parts: "Spring, Time, Waiting" and "Spring, Festival, Day", which shows the ancients' understanding of time and seasons and the origin and development of the Spring Festival and Lantern Festival customs through painting appreciation, knowledge expansion, game interaction, guessing lantern riddles, etc., so that passengers from all over the world can taste Chinese traditional culture and customs together, and explore the inseparable relationship between art and cultural customs.
This exhibition is the second cooperation between the Guangdong Provincial Museum and the Guangzhou Metro after the "Made in Guangzhou - Export Fan Culture Exhibition". The Guangdong Provincial Museum will continue to focus on cooperation with all sectors of society, and continue to explore more diversified display methods to integrate Lingnan culture into everyone's life.
