The Spring Festival is an important part of the long history and culture of the Chinese nation. Every Spring Festival, hanging lanterns, writing Spring Festival, cutting paper and pasting window flowers and related folk performances create a festive atmosphere, and overseas Chinese around the world and people who love Chinese culture are immersed in a strong New Year flavor. Works that reflect the strong Chinese feelings of overseas Chinese and Chinese, foreign friends experience Chinese New Year folklore and other works celebrating the Chinese New Year overseas, as well as wonderful moments of various traditional Chinese festivals.
3． Shantou New Year Tradition and Asian Youth Association Linkage Zone
In order to have a healthy and peaceful Spring Festival, take the Shantou Asian Youth Association as an opportunity, integrate the customs related to sports in the Shantou Spring Festival, disseminate the Olympic spirit and traditional New Year culture to young people, strengthen the exchange and communication of young people, encourage them to actively participate in sports and cultural activities, and pursue a healthy lifestyle.

The 20th Popularity Award was voted on by the public in all submitted works. After the end of the call, the number of votes will be counted, and the publicity and reward will be carried out.
The above bonuses are pre-tax amounts, and the organizer withholds and pays 20% incidental income tax. After the announcement, an award ceremony and an exhibition of outstanding works will be held, and an online exhibition will be launched at the same time.

Call for Papers
(1) Requirements for works
1. The submission shooting equipment is not limited, the photo file format must be JPG format, the long side of the work is not less than 3000 pixels, and the size of a single photo is between 1 and 16MB; color, black and white are not limited, single frame, group photos can be, of which group photos are limited to 4-12 pictures.
2. The shooting time of the entries is not limited, and the themes and contents of the entries are similar, and the works taken during the competition call for papers (from December 20, 2021 to the Spring Festival in 2022) are preferentially selected for final evaluation.
3. Photographs must retain their original information, and the organizer will regard them as invalid works for entries that cannot provide original photo information.
4. The submitted work must be photographed by the submitter himself, and the author has an independent and complete copyright over the work. If there is a similarity in the participating works, the organizer has the right to obtain a creative certificate from the author for the similar works. Only one work per participant in the final judging of the contest can win one work per theme.
5. Submitted works shall not make technical adjustments such as deletion, modification, addition, or synthesis of the original image. Only the necessary post-processing such as brightness, contrast, color saturation and composition clipping can be made, including conversion to JPG format.
6. Remakes are not allowed to be submitted.
7. The submitted work will be regarded as the author's tacit consent to the use of the organizational unit for the promotion of the relevant theme.
(2) Explanation of rights and responsibilities
1． Submitted works shall not infringe on the copyright, portrait rights, reputation rights, and privacy rights of others. If a third party makes a statement or dissatisfaction with the rights of the person, building or other thing in the picture, the contributor shall be fully responsible for the legal matters caused or likely to arise from the picture.
2． Works and acts that are sufficient to hinder public order and good customs will be disqualified if they are discovered. "Works and acts that infringe upon public order and good customs" include, but are not limited to, all violations of law, morality, public order or good customs that may seriously mislead public perceptions, be of a fraudulent nature, etc.
3． There is no fee for this promotion and no cancellations. All collected works shall be used by the organizer in the promotion and publicity activities of exhibitions, albums, newspapers, videos and other themes organized by the institution and shall no longer pay remuneration, and shall be obliged to respect the author's and copyright owners' attribution rights in the process of use.
4． Entries can be used for online display of China Press Photo, and if they are used for commercial purposes by organizations other than China News Photo Network, they will pay copyright fees in accordance with the relevant provisions of the china press photo network contract photographer contribution system.
5． By uploading a work, entrants are deemed to have agreed to and abide by the above rules. Any work that does not meet the requirements of the call for papers will be disqualified.
6． The works of the organizer's staff and the judges (including immediate family members) of this selection cannot participate in the evaluation, and once discovered, they will be disqualified.
7． The final interpretation of this event belongs to the organizer. Submissions are defaulted to approval of the above call for papers.
(3) Precautions
1． Entrants must register and fill in information that is true and valid, and that communication is kept open. The organizer will contact the shortlisted entrants by phone and email to request the entrants to provide relevant information within the specified date, and those who are late will be deemed to have voluntarily given up.
2． If the prize winner fails to receive the corresponding remuneration and award certificate due to the failure of the prize recipient to provide accurate information, the responsibility shall be borne by the winner himself.
