Dehua ceramics has a long history, starting from the Xia Shang, flourishing in the Song and Yuan Dynasties, and flourishing in the Ming and Qing dynasties. In 2021, the Dehua kiln site (Weilin-Uesaka kiln site, Qudougong kiln site) as one of the 22 heritage sites of "Quanzhou: World Marine Trade Center of Song and Yuan China" was successfully included in the heritage list, becoming the first world cultural heritage in the category of porcelain kilns.

Less than 300 meters away from zulong Palace is the Qudougong kiln site of the World Heritage Site, the Dehua Kiln Site. Entering the kiln site of Qudou Palace, the decoration of the kiln site is mainly based on flowers, birds, and characters, and a small number of carved flowers adds a lot of poetry to the kiln site. "The wooden boardwalk we walked, below which is the kiln site, is 57.1 meters long." Zheng Jiongxin said that the special feature of the kiln is that it belongs to the "chamber dragon kiln", which is a transitional form of the transformation of the dragon kiln into a class kiln, reflecting the progress and development of kiln technology in the Song and Yuan dynasties.
The excavation of the ancient kiln site in Obayashi- Uchisaka has brought seven ancient kiln sites out of the ground. The Weilin kiln site is surprised to see 4 overlapping kilns, including dragon kilns, sub-chamber dragon kilns, heng chamber class kilns and other kiln ruins spanning the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, which for the first time reveal the development and evolution process of Dehua kilns from the dragon kilns in the Song and Yuan dynasties to the heng chamber class kilns in the Ming and Qing dynasties, filling the archaeological gap in the technological changes and development of dehua ancient kilns. The history of dehua's thousand-year-old porcelain-making technology can be seen here. Zheng Jiongxin said that dehua has discovered as many as 239 ancient kiln sites, and 11 have been excavated so far. In the future, the county will integrate culture and tourism around the excavated ancient porcelain kiln sites, and build a kiln site park so that the thousand-year-old porcelain history can be touched and felt.
