In 1933, he was seriously wounded in battle with the enemy and fell on the battlefield, and his comrades bought a coffin for him and prepared a funeral, but he opened his eyes and personally attended his funeral. He was also famous for his reputation as an "iron strike".

He was born twice, once to attend his own funeral and once to be asked to dissect the body

After all, he was not ironclad, and finally died suddenly in 1985, and all the people asked for an autopsy to find out the cause of death, only his wife firmly disagreed, and also asked the organization to fulfill his last wish.

He is liang Xingchu, the founding lieutenant general of the mainland, who has been injured 9 times in his life, which can really be described as nine deaths.

01 Survived and attended his own funeral

Liang Xingchu was born in August 1913 in Ji'an, Jiangxi Province, and from an early age he was naughty and playful, and his father had no choice but to send him to a blacksmith shop to study.

In February 1930, the Red Army came to the village of Xiangpi, and Liang Xingchu ran out of the blacksmith shop and joined the Red Army without hesitation, thus beginning a life of revolution.

He was brave and good at fighting, slightly injured and could not get out of the line of fire, and grew into a squad leader in less than 5 months, and joined the Communist Party of China because of his outstanding mission.

Especially in the Yudu River ambush in 1933, Liang Xingchu, who was already a company commander, rushed to the front of the regiment with his nine companies, and throughout the day of fighting, they repelled the enemy's attacks again and again.

Liang Xingchu, who was still under the line of fire with multiple injuries, was pierced by the enemy's bullets and came out from the back of his head, bleeding all over his face, and he suddenly became a bloody man. But he still did not go to the battlefield, holding on to command the battle, and at the moment of victory he fell to the ground.

Under the medical conditions at that time, all the people could do nothing but watch him fall asleep for three days and three nights.

The comrades-in-arms thought that he could not survive this time, and in the midst of grief prepared a coffin for him and prepared a funeral for him.

Unexpectedly, a miracle occurred, Liang Xingchu opened his eyes, and with his tenacious will, he broke through the ghost gate and personally attended his funeral.

In this ambush battle, Liang Xingchu became famous, and since then he has had the reputation of "iron strike".

02 Nine dead lives, playing the prestige of the "Long Live Army"

Liang Xingchu, who escaped from the hands of the god of death, was even more heroic and good at fighting, and he was wounded 9 times in 8 years, and soon grew from a company commander to a brave and resourceful independent brigade commander.

After the victory of the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression in 1945, the northeast became the focus of contention between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, and Liang Xingchu came to the northeast.

Liang Xingchu loved to fight hard and vicious battles, and fought countless victorious battles in xiushui river, annihilating five battalions of the enemy at Xiushui River, annihilating the enemy's 87th division at Dawa and Jinshan Fort, and completely annihilating a main force regiment of the New First Army at Zhangmazigou.

Especially in the Liaoshen Campaign, he commanded the famous Black Mountain Blockade Battle, preemptively occupied the commanding heights, held out for five days and nights, and made a great contribution to the main force to encircle and annihilate Liao Yaoxiang's corps.

After the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea began, Liang Xingchu, who was already a military commander, led his 38th Army across the Yalu River to join the battle with the American army.

That is, in North Korea, Liang Xingchu fought the first defeat in his life due to strategic mistakes, and was also criticized by Commander Peng Dehuai by name. This made Liang Xingchu extremely ashamed, and vowed to beat the US army to the ground.

He soon ushered in the second battle, in the face of the elite weapons of the US army and the left and right attack, Liang Xingchu led his 38th Army to bravely move forward, after 7 days of desperate fighting, the US army helplessly retreated.

His 38th Army annihilated a large number of enemies, and even successfully blocked hundreds of thousands of enemy troops, ensuring the victory of the entire Western Front campaign.

Commander Peng Dehuai sent a commendation telegram, and at the end of the telegram, he wrote "Long live the Chinese Volunteer Army" and "Long live the 38th Army", and the 38th Army was also called "Long Live the Army".

03 Died suddenly and was asked to dissect the body

Liang Xingchu made outstanding achievements in the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, the War of Liberation, and the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, and in 1955, he was awarded the rank of lieutenant general and awarded a number of medals.

In later years, Liang Xingchu was also repeatedly censored and delegated for transformation, and his lover Ren Guilan made an application report without hesitation and took the child to Taiyuan to take care of him.

Liang Xingchu works in the workshop, Ren Guilan treats the locals, and although the family's life is hard, it is also a kind of happiness to be together.

In 1979, Liang Xingchu was finally transferred back to Beijing, and at the age of 66, he rejected the position of "war zone consultant" and voluntarily applied for retirement.

Years of conquest left a lot of scars on Liang Xingchu's body, and his body became increasingly sick, but he still did not forget to appeal to his implicated comrades-in-arms and submitted one report after another to the central authorities.

On October 5, 1985, Liang Xingchu suddenly suffered a heart attack and died due to ineffective rescue, he walked too suddenly, did not leave a word, and did not say goodbye to his comrades-in-arms.

Because he was still talking about work a few hours before the rescue, his comrades objected to his death and demanded that the body be dissected to find out the truth about his sudden death, but Ren Guilan was adamantly opposed.

She was crying so loudly that she wanted to leave him a complete body. Because Liang Xingchu's body was originally hit by bullets, there were wounds everywhere, and he could not bear to let him be dissected after death.

Ren Guilan sent her husband away in grief, and after being confused and sad, she began to write a memoir for her husband.

He was born twice, once to attend his own funeral and once to be asked to dissect the body

In order not to be forgotten by the world, and in order to fulfill her husband's last wishes, Ren Guilan began to race against time. She retraced the path her husband had taken, traveling all over the country, visiting former comrades-in-arms, and collecting information little by little.

Ren Guilan spent 16 years to complete a book "Commanding the Long Live Army" that wrote Liang Xingchu and reproduced the history of modern warfare.

This book is a wife's nostalgia for her husband, but also an old revolutionary sense of historical responsibility, so that our descendants will always remember the revolutionary spirit of their predecessors and cherish the hard-won today.
