Note: General Zhu Cheng, a native of Lushan Town, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is the commander of the Fifth Military Subdistrict of the Jiluyu Military Region of the Eighth Route Army. On September 28, 1943, in the anti-"sweeping" operation of Wangchang in the southwest region of Cao County, Shandong Province, in order to cover the breakthrough of the main force, he and more than 30 comrades-in-arms died with the enemy, and died heroically, at the age of 33.
