On the stage, next to the piano, when Zhang Hanbing popped out the last note, the audience broke out into warm applause. The young player first came into contact with the piano more than a year ago, and now she has planned and performed a wonderful piano debriefing concert with 37 classmates in her class.

"From piano zero foundation to planning and holding piano debriefing concerts, and it is also the first student piano debriefing concert held by our college, it is so fulfilling that our efforts for more than a year have paid off." On January 17, recalling the piano debriefing concert successfully held at the school not long ago, Zhang Hanbing was very emotional.

Zhang Hanbing is a junior majoring in preschool education in the Faculty of Humanities of Tarim University, and as one of the first-class undergraduate courses built by Tarim University, the "Qinfa" course is a compulsory course for her professional skills.

She remembers when she first learned piano, the posture and hand shape were not standard, the left and right hands were not coordinated, they were not in a rhythm at all, and a children's song was also played. "When I play the piano, my little thumb will always be unconsciously cocked, and under the guidance of the teacher, I practiced for more than 1 month before I changed it." She said.

Zhang Hanbing's piano teacher Meng Yuanyuan pays attention to guiding students to personalized learning, patiently teaches students how to correctly read the score, correct posture and hand shape, organizes groups to evaluate each other, and also cooperates with various forms of drama performance, percussion performance and other forms of content to mobilize students' enthusiasm for learning.

Under the careful guidance of the teacher, Zhang Hanbing competed with himself and practiced the piano diligently every day. She was pleasantly surprised to find that although learning piano started late, with the right method, diligent study and practice will make rapid progress.

"It's like playing a two-handed game where you draw a square with one hand and a circle with the other, and it's going to be very difficult. When playing the piano, the main melody of the right hand, the chords of the left hand, the left and right melodies are different, the height and length are different, the fingering is different, but the left and right hands must be coordinated to the same point, can not be chaotic and can not be wrong. Zhang Hanbing said that in order to practice a children's song, she first practiced the left hand chord at least 50 times, then practiced the right hand melody at least 50 times, and the left and right hands could be skilled and then combined to practice at least 50 times.

Zhang Hanbing remembered that in order to play the children's song "Little White Boat", she practiced the left hand part for two days, the right hand part for two days, and practiced with both hands together for two days before finally playing the whole children's song completely and fluently.

There is a teaching building with a lot of large and small piano rooms, she every day after dinner with her classmates to practice the piano, until the evening duty uncle is going to leave work, three urges four please "catch" them away.

In December last year, at the suggestion of Meng Yuanyuan, the students decided to hold a piano debriefing concert to showcase the results of more than a year's worth of learning on the stage. After two weeks of preparation, on the evening of December 25, 2021, the whole class confidently stepped onto the stage, solo, in unison, singing, four-handed playing, melodious piano sounds echoing in the hall.

Zhang Hanbing said that participating in the piano debriefing concert is a demonstration of learning achievements, and her biggest gain this year is to make herself more confident, more tenacious, and more energetic for the future through practicing, and she firmly believes that "as long as I am willing to work hard, my youth is wonderful."

The curriculum is the core element of talent training, and the quality of the course directly determines the quality of talent training. Xiao Tao, dean of the Faculty of Humanities at Tarim University, said that after just over a year of study, the whole class held a high-quality concert, which created a precedent for the college's skills class, and the construction of first-class undergraduate courses has achieved fruitful teaching results, and the "Qinfa" course has also been rated as a first-class course at the corps level recently.

"When the applause on the stage rang out, I saw the way I had been practicing my fingers in the piano room for more than a year. I will graduate next year, piano grades may increase my competitive advantage in employment, I want to apply my learned expertise to the future of education practice, become an excellent preschool teacher. Zhang Hanbing said.
