Zhitong Finance APP learned that the stock price of Geli Pharmaceutical-B (01672) has continued to climb recently, rising by more than 90% in the month. The stock retreated after surging more than 5% higher in early trading, and suddenly dived in the afternoon, with a decline of more than 9% at one point. As of press time, it fell 7.92% to HK$6.28, with a turnover of HK$234 million.
On the news side, Geli Pharmaceutical announced that Laos Phokam Pharmaceutical Import-Export Co., Ltd (buyer) and the company's wholly-owned subsidiary Celees Pharmaceutical (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. (seller) signed a purchase agreement for ritonavir tablets. Ritonavir oral tablets are pharmacokinetic enhancers of multiple oral antiviral drugs against viral proteases. The company announced on January 3 that the annual production capacity of ritonavir oral tablets has been expanded to 100 million tablets, and can be further expanded rapidly according to market demand in the future.
