According to the well-known transfer journalist Romano, Barca and Bayern are interested in signing Christensen, and the players do not seem to have the idea of free transfers to other Premier League clubs.
Christensen's contract with Chelsea expires this summer and he has yet to renew his contract. Romano said it seemed unlikely that Christensen would accept an invitation from any Premier League club and move freely to join, out of respect for Chelsea.
