On January 17 and 18, the Huidong County History Office organized personnel to go to Dechang County and Xichang City to visit and comfort some retired cadres who worked in Huidong in the early days of the county, and to present them with books such as party history and yearbooks.
A total of 11 sets of books such as "History of the Capital County of Sichuan Province of the Communist Party of China (1950-1978)" (volume II) and "Intensive Reading of the Huidong Yearbook (2021)" were presented to the retired cadres. In the course of the visit, the relevant personnel of the Huidong County History Office briefed the veteran comrades and leaders on the economic and social development and historical changes in Huidong, and jointly reviewed with them the course of the development and growth of the local organizations of the Communist Party of China in Huidong, as well as the determination of the party organizations to always follow the party in the historical process of Huidong from scratch and from weak to strong. During the conversation, the retired veteran cadres were extremely pleased with the brilliant achievements made by the party in the course of a hundred years, and encouraged the young cadres to further continue the spiritual lifeline, draw on the strength to forge ahead, and add bricks and tiles to the party's cause and make new contributions.
