The smart food truck is also a free meal point for Beijing Winter Olympic Volunteers of Beijing Bus Service, and is the first Beijing Bus Convenience Pilot project of Beijing Bus Group to help the Winter Olympics give back to the society.
During the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, Beijing Bus Group selected 2190 outstanding cadres and employees, formed 3 Beijing Winter Olympic transportation support teams and 8 teams, and invested 2263 vehicles of various types, including 438 in Beijing and 212 in Yanqing. In order to serve the Winter Paralympic Games, the Group has specially modified 40 buses to create welfare vehicles to facilitate the travel of athletes using wheelchairs.
