Yu Bin is a member of the Guizhou Artists Association, the deputy director of the 7th Oil Painting Art Committee of the Guizhou Artists Association, a director of the Guizhou Oil Painting Society, the deputy secretary-general of the Zunyi Artists Association, and the executive vice president of the Zunyi Oil Painting Society.

In 2018, his work "Tucheng Ancient Town" won the second prize in the "Great Turning Point National Art Exhibition", and the work "Night Crossing Erlang Beach" won the bronze medal in the "National Art Exhibition Selection Competition" celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Guizhou Province.

In 2020, his work "Responsibility" was included in the "Unity of Purpose - Exhibition of Anti-epidemic Theme Art Works" and was collected by the China Museum.

In 2021, his work "Lusheng Dancing to Celebrate Poverty Alleviation" won the first prize in the oil painting category of "Xishan Chunxing", which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China.

In 2021, his work "Fish and Water Conditions" won the third prize of the first Guizhou Provincial Red Theme Art Works Exhibition "Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China 1921-2021'Horn and Journey'".
