Zhang Tianshi is a frequent character in Journey to the West, and he runs through almost the entire journey to the West. Along with him, there were three other Heavenly Masters, Qiu, Xu, and Ge, who were called the Four Great Heavenly Masters. Zhang Liang was one of the three masters of the early Han Dynasty, he was one of the Seven Heroes of the Warring States, a Korean, and later assisted Liu BangXinghan and gave advice, and was one of the most meritorious people. Zhang Liang was also a man who knew what to advance and retreat, and did not cherish the glory and wealth, and it is said that he followed Akamatsuko Xiuxian. So what is the relationship between Zhang Tianshi and Zhang Liang?
Zhang Liang in the journey to the west
Zhang Liang appeared once in the Journey to the West, that is, in the East Sea Dragon Palace Ao Guang. What appears is not himself, but a painting. At that time, Sun Wukong had just come out from under the Five Elements Mountain, and before he put on the tight hoops, he and Tang Monk had a stomach angry and ran all the way to Huaguo Mountain. When he passed through the East Sea, he wanted to tell the story of the East Sea Dragon King, so he came to the Crystal Palace. After drinking the tea, he turned back and saw a painting hanging on the back wall of the bridge. After he inquired, the Dragon King explained:
"The Great Sage is first, and this matter is later, so you don't recognize it." This is called the Three-Way Walk of the Bridge. The walker said, "What is the three-step walk?" The Dragon King said, "This immortal is the Duke of Huangshi, and this son is Zhang Liang of the Han Dynasty." Shi Gong was sitting on the bridge, and suddenly lost his footing under the bridge, so he called Zhang Liang to take it. The Son was hurried to take it, and knelt before it. In this way, Zhang Liang did not have the slightest arrogance and sluggishness, and Shi Gong loved him diligently, taught the Heavenly Book at night, and helped him to help Han. The result is in the midst of strategic planning, and the decisive victory is thousands of miles away. After the Taiping, he abandoned his post and returned to the mountain, traveled from Akamatsuko, and became a fairy path. Great Sage, if you don't protect the Tang monks, if you are not diligent, if you are not taught, you are a demon immortal in the end, and you will not be able to achieve the right results. ”
Zhang Liang here can succeed, on the one hand, because he is humble and respectful, and his attitude when he studied is satisfactory to Huang Shigong; on the other hand, he can treat success correctly, and he is not arrogant because he has the merits of the world, and he can retreat in a rapid. Many of those uninteresting heroes lost their lives, and Han Xin, the Marquis of Huaiyin, who was killed in the three ways, and Peng Yue, the King of Liang, who was chopped into meat sauce, were all lessons. Zhang Liang, on the other hand, abandoned his post and returned to the mountains, and finally became an immortal, and his wisdom was a model for people for thousands of years. So Sun Wukong was greatly shaken and returned to Tang Monk's side.
Zhang Tianshi in the journey to the west
Zhang Tianshi appeared early in the journey to the west, when Sun Wukong had just abandoned the fact that ma Wen's official position was too small and he had gone to the netherworld. The Jade Emperor was dealing with political affairs, when he saw Zhang Tianshi with the Imperial Horse Supervisor and The Deputy Supervisor under the Dan Qi: "Long live, the new Bow Horse Wen Sun Wukong, because of the small number of suspected officials, went down to the Heavenly Palace yesterday. It can be seen that Zhang Tianshi is a close relative of the Jade Emperor, and the general level of Heavenly Court officials need to go through Zhang Tianshi to see the Jade Emperor. At this time, it should be about the time of the Qin Dynasty (see my own "Journey to the West: Talking about the Spring and Autumn Era when Sun Wukong was born"), after which Sun Wukong disrupted the Peach Society, stole the elixir of Taishang Laojun, and also the Four Heavenly Masters informed the Arrival of Taishang Daozu. So who is Zhang Tianshi? According to the "Three Sects Of Origins and Streams search for god encyclopedia • Zhang Tianshi", "The Heavenly Master, Han Zhang Daolingye, the eighth grandson of Zifang. Guangwu Jianwujian was born in Wu Tianmu Mountain, learned immortal magic, and hid in the Northern Mountains. That is to say, Zhang Daoling was the eighth grandson of Zhang Liang Zhang Zifang, born in the Eastern Han Dynasty during the Reign of Emperor Guangwu, and he had already been an official in the Heavenly Court as early as before Qin, earlier than his eighth ancestor Zhang Liang. This is a time confusion, Zhang Tianshi crossed it. This is very common in the Journey to the West, and many immortals in the heavenly court have appeared to cross, and they have served in the heavenly court before becoming immortals. If according to the Taoists, it is not impossible, many immortals have the experience of reincarnation and re-cultivation, and Lü Dongbin is said to be the reincarnation of the Emperor of Donghua. It's just that some may have recovered their memories, and some may not be able to recover their memories, which is also the disaster that some gods need to survive. Therefore, it is not surprising that Zhang Tianshi was reincarnated into the Zhang Liang family, and didn't the spirit beads also reincarnate into Li Jing's family?
