On November 23, 2021, Mr. Liu, a resident of no. 37 Pavilion Street in Xicheng District, found that the front and rear doors of his car parked in the parking lot of the community were seriously scratched. The "wound" was intermittently about 1.5 meters long, and there was an oval mark about fifteen or sixteen centimeters in diameter.

Mr. Liu found the residential property company to look at the surveillance video and found that Ms. Li, a resident of the same hospital, illegally built a self-built house across the wall from the parking lot, and placed the flower pots planted with climbing plants on the wall. Two days ago, in the afternoon, a strong wind blew the flowerpot and the sharp and hard rattan to the ground, scratching Mr. Liu's car.

At first, for the sake of neighbors, Mr. Liu thought that as long as the other party admitted a mistake and had a good attitude, he could negotiate a solution. According to the provisions of the Civil Code, if a building, structure or other facility and its shelves or hanging objects fall off or fall off and cause damage to others, and the owner, manager or user cannot prove that he is not at fault, he shall bear tort liability. After the owner, manager or user has compensated, if there are other responsible persons, they have the right to recover compensation from the other responsible persons.

After a reasonable and powerful persuasion education, Ms. Li finally realized that it was her responsibility for the damage to Mr. Liu's car door. She immediately said that she must find the owner to negotiate compensation.

On the morning of January 19, Mr. Liu called the mediator and said that Ms. Lai had apologized to him. After repeated consultations, 800 yuan of economic losses were compensated.
