In 2021, 57 provincial management cadres were investigated and punished in Shandong, and 2917 voluntarily surrendered

On the morning of January 19, the Shandong Provincial Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision held a press conference to report on the discipline inspection and supervision work in the province in 2021.

At the press conference, Fan Xiaoli, deputy secretary of the Shandong Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission and deputy director of the Provincial Supervision Commission, introduced that Shandong will unswervingly promote the anti-corruption struggle. Targeting the reduction of stock and zero tolerance to curb the increase, the Provincial Discipline Inspection Commission Supervision Commission filed a case to investigate and punish 57 provincial management cadres, and seriously investigated and dealt with typical cases such as Zheng Jinlan, Liu Maode, Zhao Weidong, Wang Guangjin, Wang Xijing, and Ma Shanjun; in coordination with the education and rectification of the political and legal contingent, resolutely investigated and dealt with Li Shaohua, Hui Congbing, Wang Xinghua, and other key posts in the political and legal contingent. Under the strong deterrent and policy inspiration, 2917 people in the province voluntarily surrendered to the discipline inspection and supervision organs, and 3803 people took the initiative to explain the problem. Operation Skynet 2021 recovered 54 fugitives.

In terms of conducting in-depth and meticulous daily supervision, we have conscientiously implemented the central authorities' opinions on strengthening supervision over the "number one" and the leading bodies and a number of measures taken by the provincial party committee, and the discipline inspection and supervision organs throughout the province have punished 437 "number one leaders" at or above the county and department levels. Deepen the work of talking about honest government, carry out the secretary of the municipal party committee and the secretary of the party committee (party group) of some units directly under the provincial government to report their responsibilities to the plenary session of the provincial discipline inspection commission, and strengthen supervision and inspection of the implementation of the responsibility of comprehensively and strictly administering the party. Persisting in grasping small things early and preventing micro-aggressions, discipline inspection and supervision organs in the province used the "four forms" to criticize and educate to help and deal with 150,300 person-times, of which the first form was 92,600 person-times, accounting for 61.6%.

In terms of using cases to promote reform, Shandong has formulated specific implementation measures to deepen the use of cases to promote the use of good discipline inspection and supervision recommendations, and the province has formulated and issued 4768 discipline inspection and supervision recommendations to promote deepening reform, improving systems, and optimizing governance. Deepen warning education, print and distribute a selection of confessions of provincial management cadres who have seriously violated discipline and the law, and a compilation of warning education cases for similar cadres at the same level, 23,000 people have received education at the provincial integrity education center, and 9 warning education films and 2 special films on clean government culture have been filmed, so as to promote the formation of a good trend of advocating honesty and integrity.

In addition, Shandong has carried out special supervision in key areas. Fan Xiaoli said that Shandong has carried out special rectification of corruption problems in the fields of grain purchase and sales, development zones, and parking management, deepened the corruption control of civil air defense, supply and marketing systems, and investigated and rectified illegal villas. Do a good job of the central ecological environmental protection inspectors to pursue responsibility and accountability, carry out special supervision and inspection of the implementation of safety production responsibilities, investigate and deal with 156 problems of dereliction of duty and responsibility in the field of production safety in the province, and give 255 party discipline and government affairs sanctions. We should vigorously grasp the supervision of the atmosphere of the change of office, tighten the "screws" of discipline in the change of term, and promote the creation of a clean and healthy environment for the change of office.
