The Promise
1905 Movie Network News Recently, the war-themed movie "Promise" starring Christian Bell, Oscar Isaac and Charlotte Le Bon released new posters in the United States and The English version. In the film, Bell will play a lingering love triangle with the other two protagonists, and the entangled relationship between the three can also be seen from the poster. The film will be directed by Terry George (Hotel Rwanda).
Set in the last years of the Ottoman Turkish Empire, Christian Bell will play an American journalist who will have a love triangle with Isaac,a medical student and heroine Anna. The characters of Bell and Isaac represent the rules of the New World and the traditions of the Old World, respectively, and also show the tragic situation of armenians at that time through this poignant love story.
The screenplay was written by Robin Swift, screenwriter of Memoirs of a Geisha, who has written the screenplays for Benjamin Barton and Austin Book Club.
The film will be released in North America on April 21.
