In the 3rd year, Deng Jianhua was appointed as the leader of the radar squad by the company, but some non-commissioned officers in the squad who were older than him were not optimistic about him, and the work was difficult to carry out for a while. In order to be competent for his post, Comrade Deng Jianhua took the initiative to participate in the training of the backbone cadres in the brigade. During this period, he paid attention to tempering his physical and mental will, forging his command ability, and winning the crown in the final examination. Some people questioned: Comrade Deng Jianhua is not highly educated, can he understand such advanced new equipment? In this regard, he broke through the layers of doubts with practical actions and impressive achievements.
In order to make the new equipment form combat effectiveness as soon as possible, he led the team members to devote themselves to the exploration and practice of the new radar. During that time, he often forgot to eat and sleep, working overtime to learn the principle until late at night. In the end, the operation process and step specifications of the new radar were sorted out into a book and became a standardized manual for the whole company, which played an important role in the transformation and upgrading of the company's combat effectiveness.
In one year, he has mastered the operation of various trumpeters, independently written more than 10 new radar lesson plans, eliminated dozens of faults, sorted out more than 20 precautions for new equipment, and completed radar support tasks many times. In the professional training organized by the group army in March 2021, he won the championship in the technician group competition, and a total of 4 people in his class won the ranking.
