Modern Bodyguard is a comedy film produced by Hong Kong Ka Wo Limited and Hui Pictures. Directed by Hui Guanwen, starring Xu Guanwen, Xu Guanjie and Xu Guanying.
The film tells the story of security chief Zhou Shichang and his subordinate Asam, who are at odds with each other and work together to deal with thieves when the company faces robbery.
The film was released in Hong Kong on 30 January 1981.

Synopsis:
Deng Xiaolong (Xu Guanying) has been honest and helpful since he was a child, and his wish is to become a good policeman when he grows up. Because of his short stature and natural color blindness, he was turned away by the police, so he had to go to the security company as a guard. Security supervisor Zhou Shichang (Xu Guanwen) is an old fritter who is bitter and mean, greedy and afraid of death. His subordinate Ah Sam (Xu Guanjie) looked at him unfavorably early on, but there was no place to claim his grievances. This time, the company's prince Wang Pingfan returned from studying abroad and pretended to be a security guard to enter the company to investigate the situation. Soon, Sam and Xiaolong were promoted for their excellent work, while Zhou Shichang was stripped of his position as director and demoted, and there were still a few months to retire to enjoy it.
