Thai Prime Minister's Office Deputy Spokesperson Ratchada said on the 18th that the cabinet meeting on the same day formally approved 2 drafts submitted by the Ministry of the Interior and the Ministry of Labor, including the draft "Concessionary Expatriate Residence in Thailand" and "Chartered Expatriate Work in Thailand", aiming to attract high-quality expatriates to invest and consume in Thailand and promote the country's economic development. The target population includes wealthy people, wealthy retirees, people interested in working in Thailand and highly skilled people. Thailand's Ministry of the Interior will introduce a 10-year visa, of which the initial visa is 5 years, renewable for 5 years, a total of no more than 10 years, the annual fee of 10,000 baht (about 1900 yuan) must be paid, the applicant's spouse and children under the age of 20 can apply for no more than 4 in-person signatures.
