"It is very important to turn deep in the tea garden in winter, deep turning should be forced, a hoe shovel down to this, and then shoveled down along the edge of the tea tree, once down to a depth of about 20 centimeters to be effective." Lu Liping, senior agronomist of the Luchun County Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Science and Technology Bureau, explained to the tea farmers.
It is reported that Daxing Town's Mik Tea Mountain currently has 1300 acres of tea leaves. For a long time, tea farmers have been relatively extensive in the management of tea land, and the branches of tea trees are luxuriant, which is very unfavorable to the lighting, ventilation and nutrient intake of tea trees, resulting in low tea yields and unsatisfactory incomes of the masses.
Winter tea garden management is just in time, as the county's tea production department, Luchun County Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Science and Technology Bureau to promote the county's winter tea garden management work. According to the actual situation of the tea field, the technical personnel guide the tea farmers hand in hand how to do a good job in the management of the winter tea garden, explain the reasonable intercropping and pruning measures for the tea farmers, deeply turn over the technical points of the tea garden management such as weeding, scientific fertilization, garden disinfection, ditch drainage, etc., and further improve the scientific and technological content of the winter tea garden. Do a good job in tea quality control from the source, and effectively promote the high-quality development of the tea industry in Luchun County.
"We will improve the quality and efficiency of tea gardens, conduct all-round training for the masses in tea management, processing, fertilization, etc., and strive to break through to 5,000 yuan from the current output value of 2,000 yuan per mu within three years."
