Since 2016, Guan Yu and Zhang Ping have inadvertently learned about Naduo Village, a poor village that was once a state-level poverty county, with a total of 72 households and 347 people, and most of the people who remain in the village are left-behind elderly people and children. The current situation of the children in the village is heart-wrenching, she wants to find a "nother way out" for the children, and she also flies from Beijing to Yunnan about the idea of fully supporting her wife. The "Caiyun Project" took root in nago village.
In the implementation of the "Caiyun Project", the husband and wife had a clear division of labor, and Zhang Ping was responsible for daily teaching in Yanshan County, and was concerned with remote attention and guidance in Beijing. At the same time, he contacted teachers in Beijing to carry out more professional training for the children, and docked some performances and learning in Beijing. Until the winter and summer vacations every year, the husband and wife will teach in Yanshan.
In order to give the children a better rehearsal environment, the couple took out all their savings of more than two million yuan, borrowed a pension from their parents, and built a caiyun project public welfare volunteer center in the mountains. The content of the lessons has also expanded from a single dance to courses that are beneficial to children such as history, art, geography, etc., and children of Zhuang, Miao, Yi, Dai and other ethnic groups have come here to attend classes.
By 2020, the "Caiyun Plan" has selected a total of 62 Caiyun children to be admitted to the Art School Affiliated to Yunnan Academy of Arts, Kunming Art School, and Yunnan Provincial Art Vocational College, most of them are ethnic minorities, and all tuition and living expenses are self-funded by the "Caiyun Plan".
At present, the Caiyun Project has brought together one city, three towns, five townships, twenty-one schools, and eighteen villages.
In the sharing, he said that they were pleased that the first children who came out of the mountains graduated this year and all came back to revitalize the countryside with them. "Step by step, we deeply understand the meaning of life that art gives to life and art integrates into the times.
