Among them, New Nippon Petroleum Holding Company (ENEOS) is working to strengthen its hydrogen energy related business, and has built 47 hydrogen refueling stations for hydrogen energy vehicles in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area and other places. The company also plans to produce synthetic fuels that can make artificial oil by recycling carbon dioxide emitted by factories such as plants and chemically reacting with hydrogen, and putting them into practical use.

Katsuyuki Ota, General Manager of New Nippon Petroleum Holdings, said: "It is important to provide energy that meets the needs of different eras, and we believe that hydrogen and synthetic fuels are now very strong candidates. ”

In addition, Japan's Izumitsu Kosan Oil Company wants to strengthen diversified operations with gas stations as the center, and plans to launch mobile brain precision examination services, direct sales of vegetables and sharing services for small electric vehicles. Japan's Cosmo Energy Holding Company (COSMO) also plans to use offshore wind power as a new business pillar and has set a goal of achieving more than 30 billion yen in operating profits by the mid-2030s.
