Wizards correspondent Quinton Mayo is expected to aggressively pursue trades to get Pacers forward Domintus Sabonis.
Sources reveal that the idea for a deal for Sabonis was supported by defender Bradley Beal and others within the squad, as his technical level and the fact that he was likely to fit the team's head coach, Vis Unseld, are all right for his system, contract situation and age.
Sabonis, 25, signed a four-year, $74.9 million contract with the Pacers in 2020. Reporters said that in such a deal, the Wizards' offer may be Yamura plus/or Denis Avdia, plus draft picks.
