As of 24:00 on January 18, Xi'an has reported a total of 2,050 locally confirmed cases of the epidemic and cured 1,317 people. At present, 733 confirmed cases are being treated in hospital, all of which are mild and ordinary patients, and the current patients in hospital are in stable condition.
Liu Shunzhi, director of the Xi'an Municipal Health Commission, said that with the gradual improvement of the epidemic situation, Xi'an will gradually downgrade social control measures and actively promote the resumption of work and production of industrial enterprises, key projects and people's livelihood security services. As of 24:00 on January 18, Gaoling, Zhouzhi, Lantian and other three districts, counties and development zones resumed normal prevention and control; from 0:00 on January 20, 4 districts, counties and development zones, including Weiyang, Jingkai, Chanba and International Port Area, resumed normalized prevention and control; 8 districts, counties and development zones, including Xincheng, Lianhu, Baqiao, Yanliang, Lintong, Enyi, Qujiang, and Aerospace Base, continued to implement transitional control measures.
Up to now, Xi'an has a total of 1 high-risk area, 5 medium-risk areas, and other areas in the city are low-risk areas.
